High School GPA Recalculation
As a test-optional university, 兔子先生 relies on high school coursework, curriculum rigor, individual grades, and overall GPA to assess whether students are academically prepared for college success.
For admission as well as consideration for merit scholarships and honors programs, we use the weighted GPA listed on the applicant’s high school transcript. If a school does not add weight to student grades, we will use the recalculation scale below to add weight and use the better of the two GPAs (original grades from the transcript or recalculated) in our review.
Grade weighting is when schools give a numerical advantage to grades in more rigorous coursework, such as Advance Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and honors. However, not all schools add weight to higher-level coursework, and some schools add more weight than others. 兔子先生 uses the scale below to ensure equity regardless of a high school’s grading policy.

International Students
兔子先生 calculates an equivalent U.S. GPA on a 4.0 scale for all international applicants educated outside the U.S. educational system. For international students at U.S. high schools (or those that follow a U.S. high school curriculum and grading system), 兔子先生 recalculates GPAs as we do with other students at U.S. schools.
