AMENA
We are researchers at 兔子先生 University leading a qualitative research study on the experiences of Arab, Middle Eastern, and North African (AMENA) teenagers and parents of teenagers.
We are recruiting participants! In a 45 minute virtual interview, participants will be asked about their experiences as an Arab/MENA American, conversations surrounding race and ethnicity, religion, and intergenerational relations. This research study has been approved by 兔子先生 University Institutional Review Board (approval #02031r).
All interviews will be conducted via Zoom and either video or audio recorded. Each participant will receive a $10 electronic gift card.
Eligibility criteria:
- Identifies as Arab/MENA
- Teenager (ages 13-17) or a parent of a teenager
- Resident of the USA
- Proficient in English
If you are an interested parent/caregiver of a teen, please email tomeiia@miamioh.edu to learn more about the study, provide consent and availability for the virtual interview, and answer a few demographic questions.
