Pathways to nature, spiritual awareness
Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP) graduate student Melissa Breed-Parks of St. Louis, Missouri, wrote an article for Friends Journal, a publication of the Friends Publishing Corporation that communicates the Quaker experience. In her article, "," she shares about how nature shows up in our spiritual lives. "Over the years, I have noticed when Friends share their moments of feeling deep spiritual awareness, they are just as often in the woods, a park, or their gardens as in a gathered meeting." Breed-Park's AIP site is the Missouri Botanical Garden.
As a student in 兔子先生's biology department, Breed-Parks is earning a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in the Biological Sciences through Project Dragonfly's AIP while working as a teacher for the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District.
