Celebrating the inaugural graduation of the dual pathway teaching program

The College of Education, Health, and Society’s first cohort of students completing the dual pathway program are graduating! A senior recognition event was held at Oxford LaRosa’s, where students and faculty celebrated the achievement. The program, which makes students eligible for two teaching licenses - PK-5 general and special education (PK-5), offers a wealth of benefits to educators. This unique four-year program, designed to enhance versatility and marketability, provides extensive classroom experience and specialized training in various teaching fields. The curriculum includes reading, language arts, science, mathematics, social studies, and special education, aiming to prepare educators to meet the needs of all learners through a cohort-based approach.
