At this year's 44th International School Psychologist Association Conference, Chin Lee and I presented our team's (including Makenzie Theiss and Adam von der Embse) research on parent involvement within U.S. Latino and Asian immigrant and refugee populations. Our findings explored conceptual and operationalized definitions of parental involvement in these communities. This research identified key barriers for families and suggestions on how schools may address them to better service students in these populations. Thank you to Drs.
