This grant would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of the SLAM department faculty. Every day I go to class and have the opportunity to learn from such incredible scholars such as Dr. Robin Vealey, Dr. Christine Pacewicz, and especially my wonderful thesis advisor Dr. Callie Maddox. Every day these women inspire me to be the best scholar of sport I can be and receiving this grant is just one example of what doors my time in the SLAM department has opened up.
