Classroom Connections

Classroom Connections, an initiative from the Student Counseling Service, is a program that seeks to normalize and promote positive mental health through the use of a brief wellness activity at the start of each class.

About Classroom Connections

Faculty members and instructors who sign up for Classroom Connections will receive:

  • Weekly digital content to build a toolbox of prompts that can be used at the start of class meetings to create connection and dialogue between students and faculty. Content typically includes a prompt for reflection and a supportive quote.
  • All faculty who sign up and would like one will receive a pack of Stress Less cards to use as prompts as well (big thanks to the Office of Student Wellness for the funding!).  

Your Responsibilities

We simply ask that you provide us with feedback about the program at the end of the semester.
