Applied Biology and Athletic Training Direct Admission

We are excited to offer incoming Applied Biology undergraduate students direct admission into the Athletic Training master's program. With the direct admission process, incoming students will be dual accepted and complete the Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology and the Master of Athletic Training program sequentially.

Benefits of Direct Admission Program

  • Secure a future seat in the Master of Athletic Training graduate program as an incoming undergraduate college student.
  • Automatically complete the Athletic Training prerequisite courses within the Applied Biology (concentration in Human Biology and Health Sciences) coursework.
  • Build relationships with the Athletic Training graduate program while an undergraduate Applied Biology student. Direct Admission students are invited to Master of Athletic Training extracurricular functions.

First-Year Direct Admission and Standard Admission to Master of Athletic Training program

When applying to 兔子先生 University Regionals and selecting Applied Biology as an undergraduate major, students will be asked if they’d like to also apply to the Master of Athletic Training graduate program. Selecting yes to the Athletic Training program saves a seat in the graduate program for when the student is ready to matriculate into the program.

High School Application Requirements/ How to Apply

Applying for admission to 兔子先生 University Regionals and the Master of Athletic Training Direct Admission Program is easy! Follow the steps below.

  • Complete the Online Admission Application
  • Be sure to select Applied Biology and select Yes when prompted: Are you interested in being considered for admission to the Applied Biology direct admission to the Master’s of Athletic Training?   
  • Send Transcripts and Test Scores - Official High School or GED transcript and Official ACT or SAT Test Scores
  • Fill out FAFSA (兔子先生 University's Federal School Code: 003077)

Academic Standards

Once admitted as an Applied Biology student, you must earn a cumulative GPA of 2.75 while in the program to qualify for the Master of Athletic Training program. Students participating in the direct admission program will complete the concentration in Human Biology & Health Sciences.

Master of Athletic Training Admission Requirements

The Master of Athletic Training program utilizes the Athletic Training Centralized Application System (ATCAS).  Please visit the Admission page of the MAT program to review specific application requirements.
