2022 CLAAS Recognition Ceremony Highlights

As ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú celebrated its 183rd Commencement, the College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science gathered at the Goggin Ice Arena to celebrate our students and their achievements at our Graduate Recognition Ceremony. There were a total of 556 degrees awarded - 2 certificates, 111 associate degrees, and 443 baccalaureate degrees. Kira Pierson was the Student Speaker for the ceremony, joined by Alumni Speaker Joshua Hodges.

Vice President and Dean Ande Durojaiye challenged the graduates by sharing the words of Nelson Mandela:

Begin Quote
“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived; it is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead."
End Quote
Nelson Mandela
