Dr. Bennyce Hamilton is the Director of the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Deputy Title IX Coordinator on 兔子先生 University’s Regional campuses. There she coordinates educational, cultural, and social programs for faculty, staff, students and community members. As Title IX coordinator she is the first responder for victims of sexual assault, interpersonal violence, sexual harassment and stalking for the regional campuses.
Dr. Hamilton has been a Pre-K to 12 Administrator, an English Language Arts teacher (grades 7 to 12), an adjunct instructor, and a firefighter/paramedic.
Dr. Hamilton co-authored a book chapter entitled “Navigating Social Location and Identity as Transformative Praxis for Higher Educational Diversity Administrators: Which Hat Do I Wear Now?” It can be found in Becoming a Diversity Leader on Campus: Navigating Identity and Situational Pressures published in 2022.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kentucky State University. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Doctorate in Education (Literacy) from the University of Cincinnati.
