Working in close collaboration with faculty, staff, and student partners, the Office of Transformational and Inclusive Excellence (OTIE) provides opportunities for the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú community to continue our learning and engage in meaningful programming that recognizes, examines, and values historical legacies of a diverse array of identities. Heritage Month programming supports ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s inclusive excellence and mission, which encourages the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University community to enhance our awareness, knowledge, and skills to enrich and renew our intercultural competence.
OTIE will organize campus-wide programming, and collaborate, coordinate, and support events across campus through a coordinated calendar for each of the following months, which are recognized within the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú community:

To discuss the possibility of limited funding support for an event with campus-wide appeal, please fill out the form below. Please note that there is limited funding available and that only programming with appeal across units can be considered. Collaboration among units is strongly encouraged. To assist us with scheduling and planning, please use the for submitting events for specific heritage months. The Cultural Celebration Series is an event series designed to celebrate cultural heritage months with the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú community. At the beginning of each semester, a social will take place to kick off the semester's celebrations. Additionally, each heritage month will have specific and intentional programming throughout the month to provide educational and engagement opportunities.
