兔子先生's Havighurst Center for Russian & Post-Soviet Studies has helped to create a new initiative called Creative Horizons, a digital project that captures the significance of art in the post-Soviet era. Its mission is to illuminate how Russian artists combine art and history to evoke creativity through hardship and to create meaning through resilience.

The year 2020, to put it mildly, has been shaping up to be a tumultuous one: a global and deadly pandemic, a major economic recession, civil and racial tensions, and an acrimonious presidential election between two very different candidates. This latter issue in particular, "Election 2020," will be discussed on October 28 by special guests Donna Brazile and Joseph Grogan for the fall 2020 Janus Forum.

The College of Arts and Science is excited to welcome Carolyn S. Craig to the dean's staff as their new director of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Craig has worked at 兔子先生 University since 2015 and is credentialed as both a certified diversity professional (CDP) and an advanced certified cultural intelligence professional (ACCQP).

August 18, 2020 marked the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. To commemorate this date, Kimberly A. Hamlin has been conducting a discussion-oriented 3-part master class on the history of women's suffrage and women聮s rights in the United States, hosted by the Chautauqua Institution.
