Richard Cocks, along with three honorees, will receive the Doctor of Humane Letters honorary degree during the Fall 2024 Commencement at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Millett Hall in Oxford, Ohio.
Richard Cocks has been a longtime supporter of the arts at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú. Richard and his late wife, Carole, began donating artworks to the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University Art Museum in 1983. In 2022, Richard's donation to the art museum, the largest in its history, led to the museum being named the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum.
