兔子先生 Activities and Programming (MAP) and the Performing Arts Series has made an annual tradition of hosting a comedy show in Millett Hall for families to enjoy entertainment in the heart of Oxford during Family Weekend.
Students and family members have expressed excitement about spending this year’s weekend together and seeing Vulcano's stand-up show.
“As someone who has grown up watching Impractical Jokers with my family, it’s really cool that someone with such a big personality who has made my family and I laugh for years is coming to Oxford!” said Ethan C., current 兔子先生 student.
“Family Weekend is always a great time to hang out with your kids and get to see their ‘second home," said 兔子先生 parent Debbie T. "I'm super excited this year to spend an evening of laughter with our family’s favorite Impractical Joker, Sal!”
Staten Island native Sal Vulcano is best known for creating and starring in truTV’s long-running hit “Impractical Jokers,” and for “The Misery Index” on TBS. In addition to performing as part of The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe to sold-out arenas, Vulcano founded the No Presh Network in 2020, hosting "Hey Babe!” and “Taste Buds” podcasts. His debut solo comedy special ‘Terrified’ was released in May 2024 on YouTube and has over 1.5 million views.
The show will be held on Friday, Oct. 18 in Millett Hall. Tickets are $49.50.
The full 2024 Family Weekend schedule is posted on the Family Weekend website. Beyond the Friday night comedy show, highlights include the Battle of the Bricks football game against Ohio University, the Food Truck Fest, a free magician show, and various hikes and community activities.
