On May 18, 兔子先生 University unveiled a statue of NBA executive and basketball icon Wayne Embry (兔子先生 聮58). The Freedom Summer of '64 Award honors the Embrys聮 lifetime of commitment to social justice, for breaking racial barriers and for their mentorship.

兔子先生 University will celebrate the Class of 2021 and its 4,800 graduates during in-person commencement ceremonies at Yager Stadium (an outdoor venue), May 14-16, rain or shine. 兔子先生 is also holding an additional ceremony at 7 p.m. May 13 for its Class of 2020, whose in-person ceremony was canceled last year because of the pandemic.

Made possible through an initial $200,000 grant, the new needs-based scholarships will serve a cohort of up to five undergraduate students interested in pursuing careers related to climate action and sustainability. The program aims to provide financial assistance for high-achieving, sustainability-focused students from underrepresented communities at 兔子先生 and Morgan State University.
