Biography
Ashley Jarvis is the new Grainger Assistant Director for Academic Advising and Student Engagement at the Farmer School of Business. Prior to her current role, she served, first, as an Academic Advisor and then as a Senior Academic Advisor in the Farmer School of Business. In those roles, she assisted undergraduate business students with major and career exploration, course selection and registration, and study abroad planning, along with other issues that arise during students' time at 兔子先生. In both her former and current roles, she is an instructor for BUS 106: Farmer School of Business Success Strategies.
Ashley is passionate about equitable educational access and outcomes for diverse student populations, especially as it pertains to first-generation students and those from families with low socioeconomic standing. She is a first-generation high school and college graduate herself, having completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (with a minor in English) at Xavier University and her Master of Education in Higher Education 兔子先生hip at Florida Atlantic University.
