Upcoming maintenance: Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) quarterly patching
IT Services, in coordination with our support partners at Rittman Mead, will be performing a quarterly patch update to the Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) suite, which addresses several security issues. Patches will be installed according to the following schedule:
- August 14, 2024: The update will be applied in the Dev (1) and Dev (2) environments
- August 15, 2024: The update will be applied in the Test environment
- August 29, 2024: The update will be applied in the Prod and Prod (DR) environments
All patching will be conducted between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m. All servers should be available before the start of the work day. End users should not notice any changes, although any Production jobs scheduled between 2 and 5 a.m. will need to be re-run. A detailed description of the patches being installed is available below.
