The university is partnering with the search firm Storbeck Search and Associates. Jerome Conley, dean of the University Libraries, is chair of the search committee.

- Elizabeth Wardle, professor, director of the Howe Center for Writing Excellence
- Zeb Baker, executive director of the Honors College
