Immunizations and Medical Screenings
Scope: All Oxford undergraduate and graduate students who will live in an on-campus residence hall or apartment are covered by this policy. Some academic programs may have additional immunization requirements.
Important Note: Requesting an exemption from these requirements does not equate to registration as an individual with a disability. If you require disability related accomodations outside of this exemption, you must go through the University disability registration process.
Policy
Immunizations
ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University requires all Oxford students who live on campus to meet the following requirements by August 1 for the fall semester, or January 15 for those enrolling during the spring semester. Exemptions from these requirements will be considered for certain medical conditions and documented non-medical reasons (e.g., religious convictions/reasons of conscience). Exemption requests are processed through the Proof of Immunization form on the Student Health Services website along with instructions for how to upload exemption documentation.
Failure to meet the requirements will result in the placement of a registration hold on the student's account. A regisrtration hold will prevent the student from registering for classes or making change to their class schedule.

Medical Screenings and Tuberculosis Testing
In addition to these required immunizations, a medical screening through Student Health Services is required for all incoming international students, including those attending a regional campus. The screening includes a physical exam, document check of immunizations, and any necessary bloodwork or immunizations.
A screening for tuberculosis (TB) is required for any student who has traveled to or lived in a high burden country (as determined by the World Health Organization) for greater than six (6) weeks.
If the TB test is positive, the student must return to Student Health Services for a medical evaluation. Students who fail to return will have a registration hold on the current semester until they comply.
