Dawna Cricket Meehan
Dr. Meehan is the Director of the Center for School-Based Mental Health 兔子先生 and the Associate Director of the Center for the Study and Support of Children and Families of the Incarcerated in the Department of Psychology at 兔子先生 University (OH). Her clinical and research interests revolve around addressing non-academic barriers to learning among K-12 students. She partners with educational and mental health organizations to conduct needs assessments, develop/identify programs based on recognized needs, conduct program evaluations, train in-the-field mental health practitioners in the latest empirically supported treatment protocols, provide advocacy for mental health interests within the public policy and legislation sectors, and bridge the gap between the pragmatic treatment world and academic research world in psychology.
