Sara McLaughlin, Ph.D.

Dr. McLaughlin's research focuses on late-life health. She is particularly interested in the social and behavioral determinants of healthy aging. She earned a PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan, an MPH in Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health, and a BS in Human Nutrition & Foods at the University of Maine. In addition, she completed post-doctoral training in the rehabilitation sciences at Boston University School of Public Health and the University of Michigan Medical School. Her current teaching roster includes a graduate-level course on research methods and undergraduate and graduate courses on global aging.
