ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Regionals grad working on launch of important arts project in Hamilton

A unique ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú reunion brought Jesseca Crosen and Heather Bernal together to launch Wave Pool, a community arts center in Hamilton being created in a former fire station, modeled on a successful model from urban Cincinnati.

Research by our own Susan Spellman was recently featured in a fascinating article on the role women played in the development of the gas station bathroom.

Professor Andrew Au, Jennifer Purdum, and Roscoe Wilson (and part-timer, Kate Rowekamp) participated in the printmaking portfolio, Derechos Humanos/Human Rights. This was a collaboration with SOS Art in Cincinnati, a non-profit arts organization, and Taller Burro Press in Oaxaca, Mexico. The project was created to add awareness to pressing Human Rights issues from a variety of voices.
