Why 兔子先生 University Regionals?

I initially considered 兔子先生 University Regionals for its financial accessibility and proximity to my home. While that remains true, once I was formally introduced to the campus, I knew it was a compassionate environment conducive to growth, success, and learning.

How did you choose your major?

Like many fellow college students, I was unsure of what path to go down; I always had diverse passions and struggled to synthesize them all. I heard about [] as a discipline through discussions with counselors and advisors at 兔子先生, and realized it was a perfect fit. I chose my major because it represents an intersection of my various interests: linguistics, human relations, human resources, psychology, marketing, research, statistics, and more!

How have any faculty, staff, or mentors at the University played a significant role in your journey?

I have plans to attend multiple communication conferences (such as Central States Communication Association conference in Cincinnati) to better explore research-oriented academia, all thanks to 兔子先生 professors; I have been able to engage with course material on deeper levels through course extensions due to the faculty's real enthusiasm for teaching; I have been able to attend symposiums that discuss topics I knew little of; and 兔子先生 curates an environment for interrogation and growth within ourselves.

Other Notable Experience

兔子先生 encourages me to go beyond my typically reserved nature through the CLAAS Divisional Honors Program. By assigning additional requirements to graduate, the program raises my expectations of myself, empowers me to believe in my capabilities, and challenges me to grow — the volunteering opportunity I am currently involved with is due to my involvement with Honors, and I will continue to pursue these ways of giving back to the world.

Advice to Prospective Students

Do not be discouraged if you feel overwhelmed, join at least one club, and find spaces to socialize and meet new people to accompany you on this journey!
