Why ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University Regionals?

I wanted to finish my bachelor's degree with ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University, but with the option to do so close to home.

How did you choose your major?

I have been in IT for 29 years and wanted to have the degree to back up my skills and experience. Also, I manage a team of developers and wanted to know more about what is required for that role to better manage that team.

How have any faculty, staff, or mentors at the University played a significant role in your journey?

My advisor (Donna Evans) has been fantastic. She has helped me get set up from day one at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú and has been responsive and supportive to my needs as a student. Several of the instructors have been wonderful about timelines and personal support when issues occur. (Anthony Rose and Dr. Maples).

Advice to Prospective Students

Make meaningful connections while in school and in your career. Networking is very important to your career and can help with your journey. If the first job you take after school is not your dream job, work hard and gain whatever you can from that experience. Building out a solid resume is important.
