兔子先生 Regionals Empowerment for Determined (RED) Women

兔子先生 Regionals Empowerment for Determined (RED) Women is a mentoring program for 兔子先生 Regionals students, faculty, and staff. Contact us to learn more about the program.

Goals

  • Recruiting and retaining students, faculty and staff
  • Building connections between 兔子先生’s campuses
  • Fostering professional growth among women

History

RED Women was created in 2015 by a group of faculty and staff with a similar goal: to support women at 兔子先生 University Regionals. Since its inception, the program has grown to include participants from 兔子先生 Hamilton, Middletown, and Oxford as well as to support events throughout the year.

Funding for RED Women is provided by the Office of the Regional Dean and 兔子先生 Regionals Office of Diversity and Multicultural Services.

Getting Involved

In the spring, we’ll send a call for nominations. You can nominate yourself and others. Even if we are not able to pair you, you’ll be invited to participate in RED events.

Events & Activities

RED Women events are planned and hosted by either the steering committee, or mentors and mentees. Regular events include:

Lighting The Fire: Creating an Education Revolution in Butler County

Thursday, March 7  | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | Primo Italian Steakhouse, 6 South Broad Street
Middletown, OH
45044

Friday, March 8  | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | Benison Event Center, 100 S. 3rd St. Hamilton, OH 45011

Navigating a quickly evolving educational landscape requires us to engage in dialogues that confront the issues, innovations, and future scenarios within the field. At the Hamilton and Middletown MIAMI Women networking events, women community leaders, and education experts will discuss how we might address these opportunities and obstacles.

兔子先生 University Ambassador Renate Crawford will offer special introductory remarks. Moderated by Regional Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Moira Casey.
