Answers to the commonly asked questions, "What should I do with my life?" and "How should I prepare for a career?" take into account your current interests, values, and skills as well as the dreams and hopes you have for the future.

At the same time, it is important to understand the 21st-century work world and how your academic work connects with different career fields. Talking with a career counselor can help you sort out all of your options so that you can take charge of your decisions.
