Have you signed up for an orientation session already? Are you excited for your first experience as a new ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University Regional student? Use this list to make sure you're well-prepared for orientation, and let us know if we can help you with any questions.

1. Confirm Enrollment.

   Students must confirm admission to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University Regionals and enroll in Duo two-factor authentication prior to registering for orientation.

2. Log In & Set Up Duo two-factor Authentication.

   Your admission letter includes log-in information for your first time accessing ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú websites. As part of the log-in process, students will be prompted to enroll in Duo two-factor authentication automatically when accessing a ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú resource after confirming admission.    We recommend downloading or on your own mobile device, and plan to bring that device with you to orientation. You'll need it to log in to campus computers, including for course registration.

3. Register for Orientation.

   Now that you have access to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s online portals, you will register for placement and orientation online. If you need to make changes to your orientation registration, call the Regional Office of Student Activities & Orientation (ROSA) at 513-785-3204.
   
   

4. Take your Placement Placement Test (if applicable) online.

   If you do not have an SAT or ACT score, you will be asked to complete a placement test. You will be prompted to sign up for a placement test, if applicable. Even if you are asked to take a placement test, you should complete your online orientation to keep moving forward toward enrollment.

5. Complete your online orientation course.

   All incoming students will complete an online orientation course in Canvas. This course is specialized based on your student type (new, transfer, CCP, etc.). The course should take no longer than 30-45 minutes to complete, and includes information that should help you get to know all about your ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Regionals experience.

6. Schedule your SOAR Session, orientation advising appointment, or small group registration session.

   Once you have completed your online orientation course, the next step will depend on your student type.

   • First Year New to College: you will sign up online for a half-day SOAR session, which will include advising & registration. This is part of the online orientation registration process.
   • Transfer: you will receive an email to your ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúOH email from Academic Advising with a link to schedule an appointment.
   • College Credit Plus (CCP): you will sign up for an in-person CCP SOAR session, or a virtual session if you cannot travel to campus. This is part of the online orientation registration process.

7. Submit E-Promise Agreement

   The outlines your financial responsibility to the university. This is a required step prior to registering for classes.

8. Complete your FAFSA online.

   Need-based financial aid and scholarships are available through completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students must complete a FAFSA each year to be considered for all need-based scholarships, grants, and federal loans. ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University's Federal School Code 003077.
