The hustle and bustle of Uptown can be a lot when students are in town so I love getting out in nature at Hueston Woods State Park. There is a beach and sometimes I take a blanket and book and go sit by the water.

You can visit Loveland Castle, hunt for fossils at Trammel Fossil Park, check out unique museums in Cincinnati like the Sign Museum and the Lucky Cat Museum, and find your way back to Oxford for an evening Uptown in a classic college town.

My favorite day trip was down to TQL Stadium, home of FC Cincinnati, to see the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team play the Republic of South Africa. I went with one of my friends, and it was a great atmosphere cheering on the USWNT.
