Rec Sports Center Memberships
We offer a number of different memberships and discounts in order to serve as many people in our community as possible.
Membership Features
Whenever you are ready to register, then stop by the Rec Pro Shop and we can take it from there. We will create an account for you, activate your membership, complete the necessary program waiver and make you an ID card. You will then be able to take advantage of the facility as well as receive the Member discount rate on all of our other programs, workshops, and events!

Membership Policies
- Monthly recurring membership cancellation requests must be received 48 hours prior to the following deduction date. Refunds will not be provided due to late cancellation request submission.
- Monthly recurring memberships automatically continue and must be active for a minimum of 2 months.
- Annual memberships can be terminated for reasons such as medical or relocation.
- Refunds will only be processed for up to 4 months.
Children 2 years of age and under are included at no additional charge to a parent or legal guardian's Individual Membership.
Children 7 years and older are not permitted in the locker room of the opposite sex. An all gender locker room is available for use by parents and their children age 7 and older.
For children 14 years and under:
- Must be directly supervised (i.e., in the same activity area) by a paying parent or legal guardian—be they an Individual Plus or Family member or daily pass holder—at all times.
- Infants may not be left unattended and strollers are not permitted in activity areas.
- Are only permitted in the following areas with direct adult supervision:
- Fitness Center
- Track
- Exercise Performance Rooms
- Hot Tub/Spa (ages 8-14 may use the hot tub but are restricted to the first 15 minutes of the hour)
Teenagers ages 15-17 may purchase their own membership or daily pass provided a parent or legal guardian is present during the membership registration and signs the Informed Consent Waiver/Release Form.
Valuables
(wallets, ID cards, credit cards, watches, iPods, etc.)
- An immediate effort will be made to contact the owner of the valuable property. We will store property for up to two (2) weeks in the designated secure location.
- 兔子先生 ID cards will be sent by campus mail to 兔子先生 ID Services (513) 529-5000.
- Wallets, credit cards, and any other valuables will be taken to 兔子先生 University Police Station (513) 529-2222.
- All keys will be sent by campus mail to Physical Facilities Department in the Cole Service Building (513) 529-7000.
Less Valuables
(equipment, clothing, swimsuits, shoes, towels, locks, etc.)
- Items will be inspected for the name of the owner, contact will be initiated and items will be stored for up one (1) week then donated to charity.
Locker Removal Items
- Items will be removed from lockers due to a Daily Use lock cut-off policy because it was left overnight, or an expired locker clean-out.
- All items in these lockers will be recorded on an inventory sheet, placed in a bag all together, then placed in a secure location.
- The Recovery Fee for these items is $5.00 and can be recovered at the Pro Shop.
- All items will be kept for up to two (2) weeks and depending on the value of the items, will be donated based on the above procedures.
Monthly payments can be made through credit card draft (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover). Automatic billing is processed the 1st of each month, or the next business day if the 1st is a Saturday, Sunday, or National Holiday. Full annual membership can be paid by cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or 兔子先生 Employee Payroll Deduction.
All Rec Center visitors and patrons should abide by all posted parking signs on University and City streets and parking lots. Rec Center members can park for 120 minutes for free in the Campus Avenue Parking Garage located at 545 South Campus Avenue Oxford, OH 45056. This applies to all Non-兔子先生 Faculty, Staff, and Students. 兔子先生 Faculty, Staff, and Students should continue to follow campus parking regulations based on their color parking pass. Membership suspensions can be processed for all monthly and annual memberships. The minimum suspension will be processed for 1 month and a maximum of 4 months.
The following items are prohibited from entering the 兔子先生 Rec Sports Center or satellite facilities:
- Balloons
- Folding chairs
- Coolers
- Glass bottles
- Team signs
- Tobacco Products
Locker and Towel Rentals
The Rec has several locker options throughout the facility. There are lockers on each level of the facility - small lockers on the track for small personal belongings, medium lockers on the main level in our lounge area and in lower fitness, and large lockers in each of our locker rooms (men's, women's, and all gender).
Locker Rental
This service is provided on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit the Pro Shop for availability.

- Members who purchase an annual locker rental also receive a complimentary towel rental for the duration of the rental.
Daily Use Lockers
- Daily use lockers are available at no charge on a first come, first serve basis. Members and guests must remove all items in daily use lockers when they leave the facility.
- Free daily use locks may be checked out at the Reception desk on a first come, first serve basis with an ID card. All items must be removed and the lock returned to Reception before facility closing each night.
- Personal locks may not be left on daily use lockers overnight.
- If daily use lockers are not emptied by closing each day, Rec staff will remove locks and all locker contents and keep items in Lost & Found for maximum 1 week. After 1 week, all abandoned locker items will be donated to charity. 兔子先生 Recreation is not responsible for locks cut off during this procedure.
- A $5.00 fee will be charged to retrieve locker contents.
Towel Rental
We have large shower towels available for members and guests to purchase at the Pro Shop. All towels must be returned on the same day.

Individual is for (1) individual over the age of 15. (Individuals under the age of 18 require the signature of a parent or guardian.
Individual (+) is for (1) adult (over the age of 18) plus their legal dependents.
Couple is for (2) adult spouses.
Family is for (2) adult spouses plus their legal dependents up to the age of 18.
- Community - applies to anyone in the area and there are no stipulations for who can purchase them.
- Qualifying Member - applies to all part-time faculty/staff, university alumni, emeritus, and retirees, senior citizens (62+), military and emergency personnel and spouses of the above categories.
- Faculty/staff - applies to all full-time faculty/staff members and their spouses/families
- Regional/Continuing Student - applies to any high school or college student who is not automatically activated via the general fee.
The Rec requires a minimum of 2 months for a monthly recurring membership. We put a credit card on file so it automatically deducts each month until the member requests a cancellation.
We can help you easily switch your membership to add or remove members as needed. Members are encouraged to complete the to let us know what exactly they need and we will take it from there.
Yes, alumni fall into the Qualifying Membership category which receives 20% off the community membership rate.
Yes! If you aren’t ready to commit to a membership or would like to be able to visit the Rec at your convenience, we have a bundle of day passes of 5 for $25 or 10 for $50. You can purchase these at the Pro Shop. They are transferable so you can give them to friends and family members or use them at any point during the year.
If you would like to pay for a membership or any fee over $40 via payroll deduction, submit the . You can select how many installments you would like the payment to be deducted from.
Yes! Access to the aquatic center, fitness center, sport courts, track, racquetball court and locker rooms is all included with a normal facility membership. Additional programming such as personal training or group fitness classes are at an additional fee.
Yes, all annual memberships require payment upfront. You do have the ability to put your membership on hold for a minimum of 1 month if you are unable to use the facility at any point during that year though.
The Rec partners with SilverSneakers, Silver & Fit, and Renew Active. To see what you might qualify for, we recommend you contact the number on the back of your insurance card.
Regional students do not pay the same general fee as Oxford campus students. Due to this difference, regional students are not automatically activated but are welcome to enroll for a membership for $20 per month or $216 for a full year.
Yes, as long as dependents are over the age of 15, they are permitted to use the facility as they wish. A key tag can be made for each dependent upon request. Dependents 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the facility.
Yes, all guests are permitted to bring guests with them at any time for $6 per person.
