Evaluation of MyCare Ohio

Your feedback is important!

The Ohio Department of Medicaid has partnered with 兔子先生 University’s Scripps Gerontology Center to evaluate MyCare Ohio and we would like to hear about your experiences as a MyCare member. On this page you will find information about the evaluation and how to participate.

July 8, 2024 . Dear MyCare Ohio Members, The Ohio Department of Medicaid has partnered with the Scripps Gerontology Center at 兔子先生 University to evaluate the MyCare Ohio program. This evaluation includes gathering feedback from current MyCare members. Researchers from Scripps Gerontology Center will be conducting interviews over the next few months. Your feedback as a MyCare member is important to understanding how MyCare is working and where improvements might be made. This is distinct from the community input sessions ODM is currently conducting across the state to inform members of coming changes to the MyCare Ohio program. Please consider sharing your experiences and feedback. Attached is information from the Scripps Gerontology Center that provides details for participating in the evaluation. Information About This Evaluation

To get feedback from current MyCare members regarding their experiences with MyCare, researchers from Scripps Gerontology Center are conducting video and telephone interviews.

If you would like participate in an interview and share your feedback, here are some important things for you to know:

  • Your participation involves a video or telephone interview with an evaluation team member. The interview should take about 1 hour.
  • Your participation is voluntary and will not affect your Medicaid eligibility or the services you receive in any way. You may skip questions you do not want to answer, and you may stop at any time.
  • With your permission, the interview will be audio-recorded and transcribed to ensure accuracy. At the end of the evaluation, the recording will be deleted. Only the research team will have access to individual responses. Results of the evaluation will be presented publicly only as group summaries and your name will never be shared.
  • As a token of appreciation for your participation, you will receive a $25.00 Amazon gift card.
