Emily Ratvasky (M.S.)Hello! I am a first year M.S. student working with Jason Rech on freshwater reservoir effects, stream alkalinity, and radiocarbon dating of freshwater mussels within the geologic record of SW Ohio. I graduated from 兔子先生 University in May 2020 with my B.A. in Anthropology (minors in archaeology, geology, and museum studies). In between, I worked in Cultural Resource Management archaeology and was a part of some mutual aid organizations in Cleveland. Renie Thomas (Ph.D.)Namaskaram! I am a PhD student and a graduate assistant at 兔子先生 University. I completed my BSc (hons.) & MSc in Geology from Fergusson College, University of Pune, India. Before joining 兔子先生, I worked for 13.5 years at the intersection of Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems (GDE's) science, traditional knowledge systems, communities, and geo-cognitive mental models to address water security & related risks. My research interest include ecohydrogeology, GDE, isotope hydrology to understand surface and groundwater interactions, socio-hydrogeology; and geocognition tools to understand how people perceive, understand, and make decisions about common pool resources.
