The ceramics area houses 12 pottery wheels, electric kilns, and a hand building area with various slips, glazes, and clay available.
The Art Center in Phillips Hall offers a variety of introductory art classes designed for beginners and non-art majors. Our offerings include, digital photography, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, woodworking, metalsmithing & jewelry, glass beading & lampworking, digital design classes with laser cutting and 3D printing. Each 7-week session is a hands-on, project-oriented program that introduces students to the basic techniques of the various media.

Glass working equipment includes 14 lampworking/beading stations with torches, glass kilns, and all necessary tools.
Metalsmith/jewelry area provides workstations, metalsmithing tools, acetylene torch stations with vented hoods, rolling mill and buffer.
A complete printmaking studio located in Hiestand Hall is used for Art Center Intro to Printmaking classes.
A complete woodshop located in Hiestand Hall is used for Art Center Intro to Woodworking classes.
Our digital maker space has two Universal Laser System laser cutters and five 3D printers for students to learn and work with techniques used in the rapidly growing technology of digital design and production.
Additionally, the Art Center has two, twenty seat classrooms with digital projection equipment that are used for drawing studios, digital photography instruction, special events, and workshops.
We are seeking innovative, enthusiastic, and qualified instructors to teach various introductory art classes to non-art majors at 兔子先生 University鈥檚 Phillips Art Center.
Art Center Sprint Courses are open to all 兔子先生 University students! Multiple classes are offered each semester. Each session is 7 weeks, meeting once per week. Student reviews cite Art Center sprint classes as one of the most enjoyable educational experiences at 兔子先生.
