Welcome to the Department of Chemical, Paper, and Biomedical Engineering at 兔子先生 University! Whether you are a prospective student, a research partner, or simply curious about our offerings, we are excited to share the innovative and impactful programs, research opportunities, and community that define our department.
Our department is proud to offer ABET-accredited undergraduate programs in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. We also participate in the exciting Engineering Management degree program by offering unique concentrations in Environmental Engineering or Paper Science and Engineering, allowing students to pursue interdisciplinary approaches that intersect technical and business/entrepreneurship expertise. Our undergraduate programs provide a strong foundation in engineering principles while offering students the flexibility to explore emerging fields and specialize in areas that align with their interests and career aspirations. We are committed to delivering a hands-on, experiential education that prepares students for real-world problem-solving in today’s fast-paced and evolving industries.
For those seeking advanced study, we offer a robust suite of graduate programs. Our MS in Clinical Engineering prepares students to lead in the healthcare technology space, managing medical devices and healthcare systems to optimize patient outcomes. Our course-based Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) programs in Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering provide advanced technical knowledge with a focus on practical, industry-relevant skills. Our thesis-based MS in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering provides intensive, high quality research experience to prepare graduates for industry careers or further graduate study at the doctoral level.
Our department’s strengths lie in areas such as biotechnology, biomaterials, medical devices, process control/automation, paper science, and environmental engineering. These focus areas address critical challenges in healthcare, sustainable industry practices, and environmental preservation. We are also actively growing our expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) and exploring their transformative applications in biomedical and chemical engineering.
