Onyx Member Mandatory Responsibilities

• Participation in council meetings up to three times per semester
• Serve as hosts for Diversity and Inclusion Networking Event (DINE)
• Participate in ELEVATE: Diversity and Inclusion Career Institute, including the ELEVATE Multicultural Student Organization Reverse Career Fair
• Serve as panelists for DEI Mastermind
• Participation in/host at least two career and professional events for your organization in a given academic year

Board members commitments include, but are not limited to

• Sharing insights and thoughts virtually by responding to short surveys
• Supporting career development opportunities for their peers by identifying best practices in communication and promotion
• Provide insight, feedback, and advice to CCES
• Assist CCES with outreach efforts
• Participate in Career Fairs/Career Center events
• Identify unmet student needs and strategize methods for achievement
• Maintain an up-to-date resume and profile on Handshake
