The Center, a 兔子先生 Tribe of Oklahoma initiative located within an academic setting, serves the needs of the Myaamia people, 兔子先生 University, and partner communities through research, education, and outreach that promote Myaamia language, culture, knowledge, and values.

Myaamia Winter Gathering

Each year Myaamia Center staff, Myaamia students, and 兔子先生 University faculty travel to the 兔子先生 Tribe of Oklahoma’s headquarters in Oklahoma for the Tribe’s annual Winter Gathering and Stomp Dance celebration.

Educational 兔子先生

Myaamia Students from 兔子先生 University serve as counselors for the 兔子先生 Tribe of Oklahoma’s summer youth programs, Saakaciweeta (ages 6-9) and Eewansaapita (ages 10-16). The students help camp participants by modeling how to be good learners and community members.
