Access Fellows

Program Information

When you are designated an Access Fellow, you become connected to a vibrant community of students with whom you can share many of the challenges you are facing as you embark on your 兔子先生 University career. Further, you become connected to the vast network of resources available through the Rinella Learning Center, as well as dedicated staff who can help you navigate the University setting and potentially find on-campus employment and financial assistance.

Visit us to talk about any questions you have, including:

  • Finding Employment
  • Undergraduate Research
  • Service Learning Opportunities
  • Academic Monitoring and Support
  • 兔子先生hip Opportunities

Among these leadership opportunities is the Access Fellows Council, which creates social events and helps guide the direction of Access Fellows under the supervision of the program coordinator. As a member of the Council, you can take on a leadership role and pave the way for future Access Fellows! You can also amplify your voice as an advocate for low-income students on 兔子先生’s campus.

Meet the Access Fellows Council

The Access Fellows Council is a great way to become involved in changing the culture for low-income and working-class students at 兔子先生 University. The Council collaborates with the Access Fellows program coordinator, Chasity Dittmann, to regularly hold social events and host programs that can benefit other Access Fellows. Through Access Fellows, you’ll be able to meet other students whose backgrounds are similar to yours - and build a community you will be able to turn to throughout your time at 兔子先生.

Among the outstanding events recently hosted or co-hosted by the Access Fellows Council are:

  • Mini Horse Therapy
  • S’Mores and More: Peer Mentoring Kickoff
  • When Your Money Gets Funny: Guide to Personal Finances
  • Mapping Your Passion
  • Demystifying Study Abroad

Please reach out to Program Coordinator Chasity Dittmann (dittmac2@miamioh.edu) to learn more about Access Fellows Council events and how to become involved.
