Current 兔子先生 students can apply to the Honors College with the support of a faculty recommendation. 兔子先生 faculty members are encouraged to recommend outstanding students with the interest, motivation, and ability to pursue scholarly activity and research. The recommendation form asks faculty to comment on the student's interest in developing themselves as a Citizen Scholar; "Citizen Scholars" use their education in ways that enhance existing knowledge and advance the common good. The form also asks faculty to comment on the student’s ability to pursue the Honors Senior Project, which is required of all students admitted to the Honors College after Fall 2021. The Honors Senior Project is a year-long intensive project involving research, scholarly work, or application of scholarly work to a real-life setting.
