Tech Fee Opening Soon
As we approach the end of July, it's never too early to look ahead to the fall and the next round of the Student Technology Fee Competitive Proposal Process (Tech Fee). Since 2009, over $7 million has been awarded to 兔子先生 faculty, staff, and students to fund their projects that help students in and out of the classroom with the use of technology. This year, we will once again be using a fall proposal period. With that, the application period will begin on Monday, August 19, and the deadline to submit proposals for the 2024-2025 awards is midnight on September 29, 2024.

Reminder: New Wi-Fi Options Available Now
With the 2024 Fall semester approaching, we wanted to take the time to remind you about our new Wi-Fi options here at 兔子先生. They are:
- 兔子先生OH-Secure: The main network that you will use for most of your devices and purposes. *Note: MU-WIRELESS is also available, but it is recommended that you use 兔子先生OH-Secure as we will be transitioning to the more robust 兔子先生OH-Secure. Learn more here.
- 兔子先生OH-Visitor: A secure guest network that doesn’t require login for friends, colleagues, parents, and guests.
Don't forget about , a network that allows students and staff to roam and find connectivity at any institution or location that utilizes it. This is a great option for staying connected while you roam and travel around. Using your 兔子先生 email address and password, you can log in to the eduroam network at any campus or location that offers it.
You can learn more about our Wi-Fi options at 兔子先生 by visiting our page about it here.
Welcome to the Tech Support Lounge!
With MiTech closing its door earlier this year, we wanted to create a new center for students to go for any technology support that they might need. This is where the Tech Support Lounge comes in, a new walk-up center for students and staff to go for hands-on technology support. The Lounge offers services like:
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- Malware removal
- Warranty repair recommendations
- Hardware malfunctions
- Operating system and software installations and malfunctions
The Tech Support Lounge will be available during regular business hours, beginning August 1, 2024, in the Armstrong Student Center (where Cafe Lux used to be).
