Accessibility/AMP
This session will provide an introduction to web accessibility concepts and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. AMP is a browser-based tool that performs automatic accessibility checks and is available to 兔子先生 University. We will also demonstrate the Level Access AMP tool, and take a tour of its features. Attendees will learn how and where to integrate AMP into their accessibility tests, and how to use AMP to document manual accessibility tests performed on sites and applications.

In this session, Carla Myers will explore the copyright issues related to the making of accessible copies of works for those with disabilities. This will include a review of fair use, the newly passed Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Act!

In this keynote address, Korey will highlight the efforts of Mason’s Assistive Technology Initiative (ATI) to understand the academic culture of their institution and shift the campus climate towards inclusiveness and accessibility, with respect to ICT technology. Along the way, we will discuss the strategic partnerships and high-impact/high reward faculty support initiatives that have been implemented to improve buy-in for the creation of accessible digital materials.

From hearing emails or documents read aloud to text prediction, picture dictionaries, summary highlighters, and a grammar, spelling, and confusable words checker, Read&Write makes lots of everyday literacy tasks simpler, quicker, and more accurate. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own devices to this fast-paced session. We'll review basic features and demonstrate how the spelling tool assists with Medical, Legal Engineering, and Science and Biology terminology.
