For those interested in learning about fraternities and sororities at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University, we have developed a course that will introduce you to the community and our shared expectations. If you would like to be added to the course, please email FSLL@miamioh.edu. 

All those who anticipate joining a fraternity or sorority are required to complete the course and will be added to it in order to fulfill their eligibility requirements for receiving and accepting a bid. 

Completion of this course is required for all interested in joining the community. However, completion of this course does not guarantee an invitation to membership.

New Member Convocation is an opportunity for all new members of the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Panhellenic and Interfraternity Council community to come together and learn about the meaning of brotherhood and sisterhood. This year the Keynote presentation will be provided by Dr. Lori Hart. A champion of promoting health and safety on college campuses for over three decades, Dr. Lori Hart approaches difficult conversations with science and human behavior along with dignity and respect – and a whole lot of humor! Dr. Hart has been recognized by Campus Activities Magazine, the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors, the Fraternity Executives Association, the Southeastern Interfraternity Conference, Alpha Chi Omega, Beta Theta Pi, Phi Sigma Sigma, Delta Chi and Alpha Omicron Pi, where she is also a proud member!

Interfraternity Council New Member Convocation will occur on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024 at 6 p.m. in the Armstrong Student Center Pavilion.

Panhellenic Association New Member Convocation will occur in two sessions on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024 in the Armstrong Student Center Wilks Theater.

• Session 1 will be at 5:30 p.m. and the following chapters are assigned to this session: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Zeta.
• Session 2 will be at 7 p.m. and the following chapters are assigned to this session: Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, Phi Sigma Sigma, Zeta Tau Alpha.

Greeks Step Up is a bystander intervention program that looks at the topics of Hazing, Sexual Violence, and Drug and Alcohol Abuse. Each New Member who has joined since the last Greeks Step Up program is required to attend. Sessions will be held from Mid-February to Early March. Your chapter will be assigned a specific date to attend the program. These dates will be communicated to chapters at a later date.

If for some reason you are not able to attend the date selected for your chapter, please contact your chapter's new member educator for next steps in ensuring you attend a Greeks Step Up session.
