Cristina Alcalde, vice president for the Office of Transformational and Inclusive Excellence, has been selected as a

Don Daiker, professor of English emeritus, is the author of ,” published in March by Kendall Hunt Publishing Company. 

Slade Laszewski, a graduate student in Geography, was selected as an American Geophysical Union

Chris Makaroff, dean of the College of Arts and Science, received $4 million  from the Ohio Department of Higher Education for a project entitled "Establishment of the Center for Civics, Culture and Society."

Matt Moore, associate professor and chair of Family Science and Social Work, received $1.5 million from the Ohio Department of Higher Education for the project titled "Creation of the Southern Ohio Behavioral Health Initiative. The remaining $87,609 of this award is designated for the evaluation portion of the project led by Sarah Woodruff. 

Allison Farrell, assistant professor of Psychology, received $648,655 from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "Early Life Antecedents and Mechanisms Predicting Adult Daily Affective Reactivity to Stress." This award has a subcontract with the University of Minnesota.

Brian Schultz, associate dean for external relations and partnerships, and Amity Noltemeyer, interim dean, of the College of Education, Health, and Society, received $300,000 from the Harold C. Schott Foundation for the project entitled "TEACh Cincinnati: Cincinnati-Based Support."

Chi-Hao Cheng, professor and chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Colleen Bush, director of industry relations for the College of Engineering and Computing, received $39,099 from the Ohio Department of Higher Education for a project entitled "Equipment for Ohio Broadband and 5G Regional Node."

Robert Applebaum, director of the Ohio Long-Term Care Research Project in Scripps Gerontology Center and senior research scholar, and Ian “Matt” Nelson, research scholar at Scripps Gerontology Center, received $41,250 from Ohio State University, pass-through funds from the Ohio Department of Medicaid, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, and the American Rescue Plan Act, for a project entitled "Survey of Home Care Agencies in Ohio."

Katy Abbott, executive director of Scripps Gerontology Center, received $88,000 from the Donaghue Foundation for a project entitled "Developing and Disseminating Strategies for Nursing Homes to Fully Implement the PELI."

Daryl Baldwin, executive director of the Myaamia Center, received $15,000 from Mathematica, pass-through funds from the Department of Health and Human Services, for a project entitled "Nationwide Survey of Native Language Status."

Jordan Fenton, associate professor of Art History, received $26,785 from the New Orleans Museum of Art, pass-through funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities, for the project entitled "New Masks Now: Artists Innovating Masquerade in Contemporary West Africa."

Andrew Sommers, professor of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, received $35,482 from the University of Otago, pass-through funds from the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment, for a project entitled "Next Generation Condensing Heat Exchanger Technology: Design, Development and Demonstration."

Jeong-Hoi Koo, professor of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, received $22,524 from the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine for a project entitled "Fabrication and Experimental Analysis of Synthetic Skin Models Mimicking the Mechanical Properties of Human Skin."
