Mission

The Department of Justice and Community Studies extends the mission of 兔子先生 University by preparing you for careers in community organizations, the criminal justice system, and forensics.

Faculty members endeavor to provide superior teaching and scholarship in order to offer a high-quality learning environment for our students.

Within this learning environment, you will be encouraged to develop an extensive knowledge of their particular field of study.

In particular, the Department of Justice and Community Studies emphasizes developing your ability to implement evidence-based practices within the fields of community leadership, criminal justice, and forensics.

About our Academic Degrees

The Department of Justice and Community Studies includes the following substantive areas to help prepare students to enter careers in the criminal justice system:

  • Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice - an in-depth analysis and evaluation of the fundamental organization, operations, and issues specific to the American criminal justice system. Graduates work as police officers, corrections officers, and in the fields of probation, parole, and private security.
  • Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice - a comprehensive and dynamic understanding of crime, justice, punishment, corrections, policing, and the legal system within the context of a liberal arts education.
