Kudos for those who made Workday a reality

We are now nearly a month into the Workday era at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, and we thought it would be a great time to reflect on how we got to this place, and to thank all of those many individuals responsible.

Kudos for those who made Workday a reality

We are now nearly a month into the Workday era at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, and we thought it would be a great time to reflect on how we got to this place, and to thank all of those many individuals responsible.

Workday experience session attendees working in the staff development computer labWell over 150 ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú employees assisted with the project as leads, Subleads, team members, testers, and Change Champions. A few of these individuals have been working on the project full time, but for the majority, their time spent on the project was in addition to their regular job functions.

This also meant that a large number of university personnel, although not officially on the project, were providing backfill for those that were. Picking up the slack and helping the various offices around ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú to function at their normal levels.

These people were selected by their department leadership to serve as liaisons between the project and their representative areas. They were chosen because of their willingness to engage the community to increase awareness and help facilitate the change from Banner to Workday. To learn more about the program, and to view a complete list of all of the Platform project Change Champions, please visit the Workday news article.

Sarah Persinger presenting at a Workday RoadshowAlthough they are not ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú employees, we would be remiss to not mention and show our gratitude to Avaap, our implementation partner on the Workday project. They have been , and will continue to be a tremendous asset to us as we work through the various stages of the project. Their leadership, guidance, and resources have been invaluable to us throughout the entire process.

To view a list of all of those in leadership positions, please check out the Meet the Team webpage.

But mostly, we want to thank YOU! Thank you for your patience, your questions, your resiliency, your hard work, and your willingness to change. We hope you continue to partner with us as we adjust to implementing the Student portion of Workday.
