Workday Project Focusing on Testing and Training in Early 2024

Workday testing group meeting in a Hoyt Hall cubicle. As we prepare to break for the holidays, the Workday project team wanted to share an update on the current project status. We recently reached a major project milestone with the completion of Customer Confirmation Sessions (CCS). These sessions provided the 兔子先生 functional team leads and sub-leads with the opportunity to “get into the driver’s seat” and present a few of the high-impact Business Processes to key resources in their areas. Thank you to all who were involved in these sessions as presenters, supporters, and/or audience members.

When we return to campus in January, we will kick off the End-to-End (E2E) Testing phase of the project. This is a phase used to test whether the flow of an application is performing as designed from start to finish. During this phase, the project team will simulate production with 兔子先生-specific scenarios.

As E2E testing is happening, the Organizational Change Management team will simultaneously be working with the functional project leads and our project Change Champions group to develop and refine our training materials to be launched to the 兔子先生 community in a just-in-time fashion, to ensure that the training knowledge is fresh when the system goes live in July.  As a reminder, we’ll have many types of training content and delivery methods to meet the variety of learning approaches that work best for you.  More to come on training in the coming months!
