Learn to Dive Lessons

Introducing and practicing the basics on the 1-meter board. This program is designed for children 6-12 years old that are interested in learning how to dive. Class structure will be customized for each child depending on skill level and speed of progression, while still working on the same basic skills. Divers will primarily focus on the front and back approaches, and front dives.

Price: Rec Member $50 | Non-Member $70

Ages: 6-12 years

Time: See below for specific dates and times, class duration is 30 minutes

Location: Dive Well

Prerequisites: No prior diving experience necessary. Must be comfortable swimming in deep water, measured by successfully being able to complete the following Learn to Swim Level 3 skills assessment:

  1. Jump into deep water from the side, swim front crawl for 15 yards, maintain position by treading or floating for 30 seconds, and swim elementary backstroke for 15 yards

What to Bring: Things you might want to bring to your child’s diving lesson: 2 towels, swim shirt, and snack for after lesson.

First Day of Class: On the first day of class, everyone (parents and divers) will meet in the Dive Well at the assigned meeting area. Parents can sit in observation area on deck or in the gallery seats.

Learn to Swim Refund Policy:

  • No refunds will be issued for any Learn to Swim registrations. (Unless the class is canceled by 兔子先生 University)
  • If you are unable to attend a session, you are able to use that fee to cover a later session (with the following conditions):
    • A request to change sessions must be made before the registration closes on the original session.
    • You may only switch sessions one time.
    • A fee of $10 will be applied for switching sessions.
