Combined programs allow highly qualified students to simultaneously pursue a Bachelor's and Master's degree.

• The curriculum emphasizes cultural and personal determinants of health and wellness from an ecological perspective. Coursework prepares students as program planners and coordinators of health promotion programs in community, worksite, clinical, and educational settings. There are 30 credits required for the master's including a thesis or exit project. Nine credits can be double counted for the undergraduate and graduate degree.
• Students may declare their interest in enrolling in a combined program anytime during their academic career at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, from the time they are admitted for an undergraduate degree.
• Students in a combined program will remain as undergraduates until they apply for graduation or submit a request to the Graduate School to have their classification changed from undergraduate to graduate. Students must have completed a minimum of 124 hours to be classified as a graduate student (note: this change in classification will affect eligibility for financial aid). Students may receive their bachelor's degree prior to completing their master's degree. Upon receiving the bachelor's, students will automatically be classified as graduate students. Students receiving the bachelor's degree prior to completing the master's degree can count up to nine hours of graduate course work toward their bachelor's degree with permission of the appropriate advisor(s) and dean(s) or their designee(s). Those hours can also count toward the completion of their master's degree.

• Junior or Senior ranking
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or greater
• A college-level course in introductory statistics and research methods
• KNH462/562 is recommended with senior standing
• Timeline for course work and declaration of interest should be discussed with KNH adviser
