Formal Gardens

This park-like area near The Marcum Hotel and Conference Center at the northeast end of campus is a popular spot for leisurely walks, picnics, and outdoor weddings. 兔子先生’s first president, Robert Hamilton Bishop, is buried in the Formal Gardens.

The rose garden area of the Arthur F. Conrad Formal Garden was the centennial anniversary gift of the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta.

Use Guidelines

Renter Responsibilities

The renter is responsible for the following:

  • Obtaining chairs, lectern, extension cords, etc.
  • Setup and removal of all equipment.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited:

  • Tents, canopies, or stakes.
  • Vehicles or bikes on the grass.
  • Alcohol.
  • Food.
  • Pets.

Cancellations

To cancel, call 513-529-8012.

All cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the event in order to receive a full refund.

If there is inclement weather, cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance in order to receive a refund (weekend reservations must be canceled the Friday prior, before 2 p.m.).
