University Housing Regulations and FAQs

The on-campus living experience is an integral part of your academic journey. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all our students. To ensure the well-being and harmony of our diverse community, we have established a set of regulations and guidelines governing on-campus living.

Graduate students, transfer students beyond their second-year, and other students who are exempt from residency requirements typically do not live on campus. Though, may inquire about housing availability by contacting Campus Services Center.

On-Campus Housing FAQs

When will I find out where I'm living?

Housing assignment information will be emailed to your 兔子先生 account before your arrival (late July/early August for fall semester).

What bedding will I need?

You’ll need to provide your own pillows, blankets, and sheets (which fit 0.9m x 2.0m US XL twin mattress). Please note that there will be an opportunity to shop for these items during in-person orientation.

What furniture is provided?

All rooms are furnished with beds, dressers, desks, desk chairs, bed rails, trash can, recycling can, and closets or wardrobes. Due to campus storage space limitations, requests to remove university provided furniture cannot be accommodated. Students are discouraged from bringing their own furniture to campus. Typically, rooms can only safely accommodate the furnishings provided.

How large are the residence hall rooms?

The size of our rooms varies from one residence hall to another, as a result of architectural differences. You will receive the dimensions of your room when you get your assignment in late July/early August. The majority of rooms are multiple occupancy rooms for two people.

Will I have internet in my room?

Yes, each room has both wired and wireless connectivity providing access to the internet and local network resources.

Can I move in early, prior to my scheduled arrival move-in date?

Prior to the start of fall semester, students may request to move into their assigned building and room before the official move-in dates as availability permits.

Please note, there is a nightly fee which ranges from $30.00 - $45.00 that will be placed on your account from the day you arrive until the date your housing contract takes effect.

All new students, including domestic students, must pay this early arrival room charge until their housing contract takes effect.
