ETBD Cohort

Students majoring or minoring in Emergency Technology and Business Design are encouraged to join a specialized cohort headed to Luxembourg each semester. Remain on track with graduation and major requirements as you complete coursework, while also getting European experience, and the possibility to travel. Additionally, ETBD students have the opportunity to complete an internship while abroad that may further their academic and professional goals.

The Luxembourg ETBD cohort will begin in Fall 2025. Contact the program director for more information and to apply.

Architecture Program

The MUDEC Architecture and Interior Design Cohort allows students to continue their architecture and interior design studies in Luxembourg. Each fall semester, architecture and interior design students study with fellow 兔子先生ans in a 15th-century château and live with local host families. Professors include both 兔子先生 faculty and design professionals living in Luxembourg. Students experience the local culture firsthand and have multiple travel opportunities across Europe, including a "study tour" course that includes a 5-day-long field trip to another European country.

ARC and ID students can easily obtain an additional 16 credit hours with 11 of those in the major itself, keeping you on track for graduation and major requirements.

The Architecture cohort currently runs during the Fall semester. Contact the program for more information and to begin the application process. ARC and ID students should also apply directly through the MUDEC Semester program application.

Possible collaboration also exists with a neighboring university that focuses on health, exercise and sports.

The semester abroad provides a unique global experience to explore kinesiology, nutrition and health in Europe while living and engaging with the Luxembourg culture and community. Students will have multiple travel opportunities across Europe to enhance their global citizenship.
