Phi Beta Kappa

Since 1776, Phi Beta Kappa has championed education in the arts and sciences, fostered freedom of thought, and recognized academic excellence as America’s most prestigious academic honor society. The top 10% of 兔子先生’s undergraduate seniors in the arts and sciences are offered an invitation to join the 兔子先生 University Iota of Ohio Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa in their final semester.

About Phi Beta Kappa

Phi Beta Kappa honors the best and brightest liberal arts and sciences undergraduates from 293 top schools across the nation through a highly selective, merit-based invitation process. If you were invited to join Phi Beta Kappa, you will be among a membership that includes 17 U.S. Presidents, 42 Supreme Court Justices, and more than 150 Nobel Laureates. Phi Beta Kappa connects members to a diverse network of high achievers, and provide opportunities to participate in engaging events offered by the national office, our local chapters, and alumni associations. Members are engaged through quarterly publications, monthly newsletters, and podcasts, providing perspectives on public affairs, literature, science, history, culture, and career development.

To accept your membership in Phi Beta Kappa, visit the national website. Select the 兔子先生 University chapter and enter the 兔子先生 University passcode. This passcode is in your email invitation from the chapter president Whitney Womack Smith, Ph.D. If you have questions about membership, contact Dr. Smith at womackwa@miamioh.edu.

    Represented by a signature gold key and three Greek letters, Phi Beta Kappa offers a credential that has national recognition. Membership affirms our motto "Love of learning is the guide of life," derived from the Greek Φιλοσοφία Βίου Κυβερνήτης (ΦΒΚ).
